Our restaurant is located in the white warehouse, in the middle of our yellow cabins down by the seaside. As a part of Sakrisøy Rorbuer, we provide both breakfast and dinner to our guest.

At Underhuset, we like to offer you a taste of Lofoten's most typical foods, served in an original way.
Our menu offers a variety of both meat and fish, vegetarian and vegan.
Appreciating Norwegian cuisine, Nordic traditions and seasonal ingredients, we like to offer you fresh and tasty food of the best quality.

Group Booking

Our seating capacity inside is for up to 60 persons.
If traveling in a bigger group wanting to have lunch or dinner at our restaurant,  please inform us in advance in order for us to find the perfect arrangement.

The restaurant building was originally built approx. 1840. It was the main warehouse on the island for fishermen to trade their goods. The building got restored and redecorated into its current state by the owner Dagmar Gylseth and family. The restaurant opened in 2014.
