Sakrisøy is one of the smaller settlements on the Lofoten Islands, yet it still offers everything that is characteristic of an authentic fishing village of the North.
Get to stay in a restored fishermen's cabin, also called 'rorbu' close to the waterfront with the epic view of Lofoten mountains right outside your doorstep.
Restaurant Underhuset is located in the white 'old warehouse' down by the waterfront. Welcome to taste local and freshly made food, typical to the Lofoten Islands!
Explore Lofoten with us: Go kayaking, standup paddleboarding, hiking, rent a bike or book a fjord tour by boat.
Come and meet your guides at the Lofoten Activity Center!
"Sakrisoy Rorbuer is a small familyrun business that sells accomodation. Most of our cabins are built in the mid 18th century, constructed on poles over the water. They are original fishermen's cabins from the era when fishermen went fishing in open boats and needed somewhere to sleep when back on land. They are now restored to accomodate travellers. If you are looking for a place to spend your vacation in extraordinary surroundings, both inside and outside, then maybe our little fishing village is the place? Have a great experience! Regards Dagmar and Michael Gylseth"
